Written last year, at getting 50.
So no wonder my mind immediately was put on the trail of the child within when I saw this cute couple Ashild created.
The little girl is an exact copy of me as a child. Maybe I was a bit skinnier, but hey, there needs to be room for that big smile!!
I always wonder how it can be that one changes so much on the outside, whereas, apart from the change due to life experiences and growth and development, the child within is still there.
I'm glad my gram told me that this is perfectly natural and I'm grateful she shared so many important matters of life with me, as my mother and I never ever were close.
This graphic touches me deeply.
Maybe because I don't recognise myself as an older woman and I still want to know so much more about me as a child.
These two are so comfortable with each other, maybe I have to find a way to reach the togetherness in me
