So Yinti needs glasses too.
We went ot the shop and had the same guy who helped us with Djenné.
He got the classes she had asked to be put aside, and then we started fitting another pair.
We couldn't match with a cheap pair, so we ended with another expensive pair.
He gave us 50%, so we have two for the prize of one and a half.
Very reasonable.
Then we did some chores at the house...
For the rest of the day I had my hands full with the boys.
It felt like the recipe:
Put together: Asperger syndrome, autism, ADHD, and a bad puberty day, shake it all, and throw it around.
How can people tell me to have a great time with the kids if all I do is being a policewoman, a childmender, a cook, a therapist and a lot more.
Nyo had his last therapy last week and since then his behaviour is rubbish.
He's fallen back in his old behaviour.
Meaning I was right when we had the last meeting: his psychologist, psychiatrist and me.
I told them he was much more in control of his behaviour than they thought, and he behaved well because he got compliments from the psychologist.
When they said I was wrong I ascribed it to the Risperdal.
Pfff... the Risperdal only helps him trying when he tries.
We have medication-control next thursday, but I won't accept behaviour like this, and I certainly can't have him go to school like this.
Yesterday someone in the ADHD group told me I needed at least two days a week for myself, out of the house.
He said that the stress wasn't good for me and how he could help.
So sweet.
But I don't know how someone from the other side of the world can help, as I can only give an account of what's happening.
At the moment I let my feelings in I explode.
I don't mind... but it doesn't help.
I guess I have to accept I'm leading a kind of lost life.

Jim went to the parents-evening yesterday and had to return as the bycicle got a flat tyre.
I tried to phone the school... didn't work.
Then I mailed the mentor and asked for an appointment on thursday.
Djenné needs glasses.
I already thought so some time ago.
Went to the shoppe and choose 2 nice ones. (They always have two for the prize of one.)
Got a letter from the doc with a labform.
He agrees with me testing Lars for Morbus Pfeiffer is wise to do.
Got no reply on the mail to the mentor.
Thami came home...laughing.
Nyo had been angry at school at a teacher.
The one of economics.
The man is rather insensitive for the needs of the children.
Nyo had a great schoolreport. With everywhere good marks for behaviour and such. But that man just gave a sufficient, and nothing more.
Nyo was already a bit fed up with him.
Well, the guy saw it fit to break into the lunchbreak of the group and start pressuring them to bring certain things...or if....
And that was enough...
Nyo told him off and said him the truth.
Later other children gave him lots of compliments for saying what they thought already for a long time.
So Nyo had to stay late at school.
And for once came home all smiling and proud of himself.
Ofcourse we had a good talk, as it's better to shut up against a teacher.
Especially a teacher like that.
In the meantime his mentor mailed me what had happened.
I replied, informing him about the fact that Nyo had said what others thought.
So a good talk with that teacher should be on his list too.
So the whole affair could be turned into a learning experience.
When we sat down after dinner I said that a completion of that chaotic day with be a visitor, enjoying the mess in the room.
I was too tired to tidy up.
I looked outside...a red car stopped, someone came out and walked to the front door.
So I opened the door and there was a very good friend. (we know each other for about 35 years now)
We haven't seen each other a couple of months.
He smiled and I fell around his shoulders. LOL!
He wasn't even surprised! LOL!
Well, I was. LOL!
Usually I don't jump on people that way.
He didn't want to come in, so we talked in the garden and when I went in again I felt refreshed and myself again.
That man created miracles!
And I sure needed one. LOL!

Lars is still having headaches, is very tired, and is so pale.
He went to the doc yesterday and he said the swollen glands in his neck are due to the little wound he has at his mouth.
Personally I think he's at his old strategy again: waiting.
Lars was told to come back when the wound had disappeared and the glands were still swollen.
Tssss...
Djennne just went to gymnastics and she droppes a letter with the question if it wouldn't be wise to test for Pfeiffer.
I hope he can read my handwriting, as it was almost a doctors style. LOL!
I also send a mail to a studyfriend who is a very good psychotherapist. Asking to take Lars into therapy.
He tries to skip school. The same problems as last years. He finally agreed to go.
So I immediately wrote a referral myself, adding that he could get the same letter from our doc, if needed for the insurance. LOL!
I decided to try and do this week as much as possible in these matters. It's filled to the top anyway with appointments.
This evening it's Stef's school, and tomorrow morning the eyedoc for Djenné.
Jim takes them and I expect him to go this evening too.
He hates to do all the evening jobs at home.....
Ad if I like them.... Grrrrr....

Went with Thami to the psychiatrist.
I expected her to start therapy, but she just didn't get into social matters. Not even when I asked.
Well, how much like psychiatrists!
She said she assumed he was outgrowing Ritalin, especially as the problems are at the times tablets are wearing off.
So she said either Strattera or Concerta are the best option.
Meaning we either have to pay for a large part ourselves, or we have to convince the insurance they have to pay.
She said the best option was to change insurances.
Hahaha!!
Jim is insured through a collective and that makes it's cheaper.
Leaving the collective makes it unpayable.
So we left with a strange feeling that we are done there.
She's nice, but that's all.
I'm considering asking if his medication control can be transferred to Nyo's psych.
Saves us the trip, and I feel more of a bond with her.
At least she listens when she asks a question.
Instead of: "The family is now more at rest, yes?"
The weather was great! I saw under the roof of the busstops it was 31 degrees celcius!!!
Unbelievable!

Someone stole Lars' bycicle out of the garden!!
The boys heard something, found out, jumpen on their bycicles and saw the man who did it.
Followed him, but he disappeared behind a porch.
We know someone near there, so we're trying to find out his precise adres and name. Then he'll get the chance to return the bike, or we'll give the facts to the police.
Problem is he knows as well as we do, that the police doesn't care.
