Welcome to my journal.
It's about my life, my feelings and my family.
6 children.
The twins,
Nyo (14, autistic),
Thami (15, dyslectic and ADHD),
Lars (17),
Stef (20 ADD and Asperger),
and their father (PDD-Nos, autistic traits).

This blog is not written to offend, but it's a way to vent.
I'm allowed to.
I'm managing a nuthouse. LOL!

Yesterday late afternoon it rained, it poured, the heavens opened all their waterdrains, and lightning and thunders went through the skies, and I loved each and every drop of it.
The water that came from the improvised roof over the part of the sheddoor, backdoor and playhouse, drained the water in buckets and I emptied them at places weher the rain couldn't come: under the great former christmastree and the wallhydrangea.
Jim and the girls were at a playground, and didnt get as much rain as we got here.
But the earrth just swallowed it all and the hole in the ground we made for floods like these was almost completely empty, which has never happened before with this amount of rain.

The girls came back full of stories.
They went to the playground because I read in the paper there was a golddiggers contest, which was following guidelines on paper and answering questions.
Djenne won and choose a package in which a jumping cord was....with music.
Yinti had the same time, but less answers good, and she choose a pachage which contained a fake barbie doll, with lovely hair, clothes and boots. (They don't care it's a fake barbie).
They both were very happy.

When I woke up this morning I could hardly move, because my left hip is hurting like hell.
So all the plans of cleaning closets when the weather has changed had to stay plans.
Can't even sit long at the computer.

But the weather has changed!!! It has cooled down outside, and inside it's just as hot as it was. LOL!
Am I glad for that improvised roof which allowes us to keep the backdoor open when it's raining and sit outside in the sounds of the rain.

Yesterday was a bit less hot, but oh so humid.
Then finally in the afternoon the clouds started to rumble.
But they drifted over, like they were gossiping about the weather we had down here.
I said to the kids that only when these clouds would return we would have rain.

They came from a corner that they kind of stop at the river and return.
And they did.
Fuzzing even more and then suddenly a huge lightning and a thunder that even could wake up the dead.
There was no need to ask the boys to switch off the computers, they did it by themselves.. just like that! LOL!

So it rained and thundered, and we had diner.
Then I wasked up and sat down outside under the sail we have made between the house and the shed, to keep the area around the back door in the shadow.
The rain was all around me and when I walked into the garden it felt warm.

The blackbirds came and waited for the wormes to come out, then the little birds came and it felt like it was a reunion, and in a way it was.

After the shower we expected more rain...nothing.

So we had a night that was even worse, as it was very hot inside and even more humid.
I fell asleep just for three....

Today will be another extreme hot day.
I was up early and read the paper in the garden.
Tried to give the hydrangea a push to live by giving water.
It'll be a smog day. The powerplants have alarm phase 2, because the cooling water is nearly too hot.

I heard the girls playing in the garden of their friend, but they didn't show up until late afternoon.
They told they had a good time, watching Harry Potter 4 and another movie.
Two movies?
Turned out the parents had left to have an evening with friends at the other side of the read, leaving them 3 alone in the house.
?????????????????

They told that their friend had felt afraid.. and Yinti had been a bit afraid too.
I asked why they didn't call us to come over. They didn't think to do that.
But they finally had called the parents of the friend and they came home.

I feel bad about this.
When I allow my children to stay with a friend they're not supposed to have a babysit duty.
How strange!!

Went to the dentist yesterday. He "glued" a piece against the molar and I got an appointment for next week. I'm fine with that.
But I wasn't home even an hour when that piece broke off.
It was just after they closed.

The neightbour gave us the milk she still had after her guests left. She doesn't use it and we do. So the kids were glad.
We had a talk over the fence.
Ofcourse about the four days marches and about the terrible heat.
The day felt like we were trying to get through the time.

Today Djenne woke up feeling sick, and so did I.

Yesterday I downloaded some brushes and textures... forgot what to do with them.
And while I'm writing this we have no internet, so I can't look it up.
Nyo is muttering because he has nothing to do that interests him.

It's evening now.
Djenne felt better after she slept a bit longer.
Now she sleeps with Yinti at their friend.
Thami is sleeping in their bed, because it's a bit cooler there.

The day was so very hot... I didn't do much. Just tried to ignore a headache and kept calm.
Tomorrow it will be hotter.
The day after the temperature will be less, but I'm sure it'll be terrible because it will be very humid.

july 24

It's still hot and humid.
When I woke up, I felt unwell and it was already hot and far too humid.
My gluco was low, but eating made me feel worse.
I managed to call the dentist and made an appointment this afternoon. I can only hope I can keep it.
Maybe it's cooler there. I think they have airconditioning.
I have to go as a piece broke off a molar.
I was glad I could combine it with my half year control appointment.
Jim went to work again.

We'll keep the hot weather at least a week, and it makes me want to pick up my things and move to a country that is as cool as our country used to be.
I don't like the cold either, but at least it's easier to get warm than it's now to cool down.

I'm sorry I'm moaning, but I'm so tired.
And there's no escape of responsibilities.
Even going to the dentist is stressfull as I can only hope Thami and Lars will be gone to friends, and Nyo will keep quiet.
He said he would go with me to the dentist and wait for me in the waitingroom, but I doubt if he will when the moment is there to go.

Well, I'll get a quick shower, and put my Tattling Tidbits online.
They will be under homework.
