wednesday 29
Called the doc, and it took quite some effort to get Lars seen today.
But he has to, as the police required a report from the doc.
He woke up with a thick eye, which will colour, pain in his head, and still pain eating.
Tried to make an appointment with the police. The first chance: on friday-afternoon at a very inconvenient time. I can only hope Jim will be home from a course quite early.
Got a call from a teacher of Thami. He relies on us for advice how to treat Thami and some other pupils. I consider this nuts. It's his job and he lets me do all the thinking.
He appologised for making a huge mistake regarding Thami and Nyo. He wanted them to get a too late card, but they were in time in the lesson!
Nyo got all worked up and angry, but they both talked and it went OK. Worse problems were prevented.
Thami said behind his back that he was a rotten teacher, so he has to report early tomorrow. Which means that the whole family will be awake an hour earlier than usual and I have to deal with the problems that will pop up as a consequence. I feel the school is able to find Thami when he does something wrong, but they're not following up on things that need attention when Thami has done something well.
What a different ways the two schools treat attacks. One has the police on the premisses in no time and the other tries to ignore it completely.
I was so very tired that I had to force myself to go to bagpipe practice. Was late, so had to hurry, came there sweaty, to find one of the others didn't appear.
If he had called we could have agreed not to go.
For the first time it was very cold on the bycicle.
When I came home I made a wrong move with my leg and the whiplask is back again. Grrrrr
tuesday 28 nov
Lars was attacked in front of the school by someone, after he tried to protect a friend for a similar attack. He was pushed to the ground and got a full blow in the face. Nothing was broken, but he has pain, difficulty eating, a headache and ofcourse had a huge scare.
The school informed the police rightaway, called us, and had Lars brought home by two other pupils, by bus.
I'm trembling all over, because it was a group attack. It could ghave been far worse if Lars didn't have the idea to keep lying flat on his face, so they ran off thinking he was unconscious.
Some names are know, with adresses and all, because Lars had to identify them , using the school's photosystem. The police urged him to report this...Ofcourse!!!
