Welcome to my journal.
It's about my life, my feelings and my family with 6 children. The twinsgirls of 10: Yinti and Djenné. Nyo (14, autistic), Thami (15, dyslectic and ADHD), Lars (17), Stef (20 ADD and Asperger), and their father (PDD-Nos, autistic traits).
This blog is not written to offend, but it's a way to vent.
I'm allowed to. I'm managing a nuthouse. LOL!

After a week not feeling well, and a night of only a few hours of sleep, I didn't expect anything good from the bagpipe lesson.
The weather was still good for a T-shirt and a thin coat in the early morning, although autumn clearly has started now, with red leaves on the pavement and a few trees colouring and dropping leaves.
The rose is still flowering in the garden, as does the honeysuckle. So strange...
We arrived at the school when the gate was opened, and I felt rather relaxed after we had a thourough talk about bagpipes.
There had been some different views in the band how to deal with certain teaching matters, and I was glad that my view was shared with our teacher.
Then we chantered a bit, and ofcourse the other woman did better than I did. She has loads of time and I hardly touched the chanter this week. I only did one exercise and played Highland Catherdral, which I'm not allowed to play yet. LOL!
Well, at the lesson he put sheetmusic at the table. Highland Catherdral... Ofcourse I played it just like that. Then Auld Lang syne...dito. LOL!
Then he told me it was time to buy bagpipes....
I couldn't stop smiling. LOL!
After the lesson I was the only one staying to listen to the band, and then he told the teacher of the next level that he'd better be prepared as he was getting me in his group very soon.
Well, I'll miss my teacher a lot, but the new one is a nice and kind guy and very experienced.
He is also very interested in forming a group with smallpipes (bagpipes that are not as big as highland bagpipes), so we're interested in the same things.
I didn't expect us to be able to start playing the bagpipes so soon, so I don't have all the money yet...
So if you want to be a sponsor...let me know.
When we went home the weather was absolutely great. Lots of sun...
I'm ill.... will be updating when I feel better.

I'm one of the winners of the ghostbusters game!! Wow!!!
Thank you Gloria and Susan!!!!
After feeling not very well the last days, I spend half of the night doing things you won't like to know.
I woke up with such a painful abdomen that I first thought I had appendicitis.
Luckily that wasn't the case.
Yesterday I got a mail from the supportorganisation I contacted a few weeks ago, to help me with requesting an indication for Stef to go and live outside the house, and to request for Nyo's classroom assistant.
The woman involved was very unkind to me and told me Stef had to enroll himself as he had become grown up.
I replied he wasn't mentally, but she insisted that he enrolled, so I gave her a thank-you for the information and that the way I was treated was not as expected and left it to that.
Yesterday she send a mail asking me if I was content with the way she had handled matters.
Ofcourse I wasn't content at all! I was not treated the way it was said on the site. So I told her that parents who have to deal with legal grown ups that are mentally behind in age, are caught between the legal issues and the help system, and that I was very fed up with matters like that. I also told her that I was worried about the new support system and the procedure of advice that's taking place now, because I don't think they...(her organisation advises..) are able to represent carefully all the people involved.
Within 15 minutes she replied offering help.... the way it was said on the site.
Now I have to fit even more appointments in already a bussy week next week. But there's support at the horizon!! Joopieeee!!!!

Had a terrible week.
I won't tell it all here, as it would take up all the MB's I have on this site. LOL!
It worked out in so far that Lars has agreed to go to a psychologist. He agreed before, but never took the steps.
Thami got a 5.5. for a schoolproject he put a lot of effort in. It was far too difficult for him, so when it smelled after a low grade I mailed his teacher telling how much he had done and how much he had learned.
Got a mail back and let me tell you, I've never ever seen such a beautiful description of an ADHD boy before! I'm thinking about the next step. Ofcourse I'll fight this mark with every bit of energy I have. He has choosen the most difficult subject, a scaru video movie, and gets criticism as a professional. He could have choosen to make a poem... but he didn't.
Well the autumnvacation has started, so there's a bit of breathe..
I also arranged a meeting with Stef's mentor, after telling him Stef had told before he didn't want contact between school and parents with the motivation he is legally grown up. But we have paperwork from psychiatry stating he is mentally about 14 or 15. And suddenly the teacher jumped on my question to have a meeting.
Went to bagpipe practice on wednesday, and had a good time.
I did better than on saturdays, because I was less tired. The teacher decided to give a lesson and he tried to make us do something rather difficult. It worked quite well, so I felt OK about it.
Saturday he told us that we only need to have about two lessons of technical stuff and then we can start the tunes the band plays. Wooohaaa!!!!!!!!!
So I was on top of the world, because it'll be far more fun to play and practice.
I finally decided to get rid of the advertisements on the site. Couldn't, as they won't accept paypal, but some unknown moneysystem.
Then thought about hosting it elsewhere...the same problem. What is this about paypal?
Tried to make a wordpress site... I'm getting old. LOL! After all the uploading it wouldn't connect and I couldn't find out why.
Well, you have to do with the banners on top. Just scroll down to have a clean view on the page.
Got "How the west was lost"..the music... to listen from my bagpipe teacher.
There are also two cd's or dvd's with the miniseries, and I would love to have them. Anyone has them on the computer and wants to send them to me?
The next days I'll try and work on the site. I have some very nice halloweencards that were send to me. Thanks!!!
And ofcourse I have to adjust the look, because autumn finally has started here too.
Not in the garden yet, but outside the garden it's like a complete different world. I'll try to make some photos, but I'm not happy with the new camera. Maybe it just need adjusting to it, but the quality of the photo's is far less than I expected.
I'm off to do the laundry, and then read mail.
Huggggsss
