May the abundance of the harvest rejoice us and warm our heart in such a way that we're able to share our wealth with those in need.
Be it bread, be it money, be it a smile or an embrace, every gift from a good heart can be multiplied with love.
I'm amazed how many people indulge in eating, drinking and fun without realising that this day is a day of respect for ALL that lives.
Instead of focussing on what is outside us and can be consumed, we can look inside for a change and see what our attitude towards the world has created.
Have we made others gratefull?
Have we lived according to our beliefs/religions, which all state we should love all human beings and should care for our world?
The first thanksgiving was a celebration that brought people from different colours, beliefs/religions and origin together, to celebrate the abundance of harvest and peace among them.
The world is far from peacefull.
Maybe it's time we give the world what is needed to enable thanksgiving for all.
