Summer is
glamour
Don't ask me what life is without
glamour. There's always glamour. You only have to look
outside.
To me there's glamour in the raindrops
when they're spotted by the sunlight of autumn, in the
sparkling of snow, in the early spring flowers, and in
the sounds of the birds when they sing their song of new
life in summer.
There's no need to wear it on
myself. I can't see my earrings without a mirror, can
I? But I can see the glamourous rose in my
garden. And I can smell the honeysuckle pure, like
nature meant it to be.
But even with all the beauty
around, there are times I can't see it. Those are the
days I worry too much, the days I feel hurt or
angry, the days I'm on a guilttrip, or when I feel ill
or empty.
In a way I'm mirrored in the glamour of
nature. And glamour is a mirror of nature and me.
