It has been terribly hot today.
No fun at all.
I steamed the laundry dry. LOL!
We had no internetconnection all afternoon.
Later in the evening there was a sudden change in temperature...it went up again. And one could feel the damp rising.
We all felt it. When I looked outside it was cloudy, but no rain is expected.
Tomorrow will be worse.

It's terribly hot.
The air seemed to sissle even early in the morning when we went to bagpipe lesson.
It was no problem to wait for the bus in a very thin cotton top. In fact the little bit of wind that was blowing gave just the right feel.
The driver was nice, drove fast, so we had enough time to walk to the school in a lazy way.
The school was prepared for the summervacation. So there were no chair and tables in the canteen. Luckily we could sit outside.
We don't always have a teacher present, which is not a real problem. So we exercised the whole time and left early to catch the bus.
It was terribly to wait in the full sun.
Thami has fallen a long time ago for the Axe adverts. If anyone has good advice to get him off that terrible stench! Please let me know.
I have asthma and each time he passes me I get congested and get a headache.
Even when he hangs his T-shirt outside on the line we can smell it in the whole garden.
After the so maniest row about it, and he not listening, I have decided to become the mean mamma.
Maybe it's best to spray sugar water on his T-shirts before he wears them, so the bees come bussing...

It's the last day of the month again! I can't believe time went that fast!
The girls went to school with presents for the teachers and flowers from the front garden.
Yesterday evening a good friend came to hand me a couple of special papers (he's head-editor of), but he didn't want to come in.
When I opened the door I first saw his smile and then he pointed out that my garden was a bit...full.
The last time I was in the front garden was about 3 days ago. Now it was completely overgrown with pink flowers.
It was beautiful!!! Beside the path the lavender was growing abundantly.
So this morning the girls had large bouquets with lavender and pink flowers for their teachers.
For an hour everybody was gone.
The house was so silent... it was great!!!
Lars came home first with a very nice schoolreport.
Then Thami, who doubted the results of one subject. (The teacher taking him for his brother???). And a bit later Nyo. I was very content.
Then the girls came home with stories and a letter. Djenné is dyslectic and she got the evaluation. I was reading it and puzzling when something attrcated my attention: another name.
Well, the person who made it lived up to the expectations...again. LOL!
So it's vacation!
I picked some fruit from the garden: red berries and raspberries.
The surfed around a bit on the computer. I had a firm migraine, thanks to the dampt and very hot weather.
None cared for dinner, so I made vegetable soup. That was the first time in ages they didn't moan about dinner...
When I was making my rounds to update sites, I found a tag of an old friend. It really made my day.

Went with Thami to the specialist..orthopedics.
They should have told that it was right at the other, outer side of the hospital.
If they had a door there, we could have jumped out of the buss right in the waitingroom, instead of that we had a huge walk to the entrance, and then went all the way back inside.
The old ward of gynaecology was gone. It's a big hall now, and it was strange to walk right over the place my bed was 8 years ago.
I was very badly in pain, because the morphine didn't do anything.
They thought I was pretending...!!!
I had a hysterectomy and they had rearranged my muscles, as after all those pregnancies parts of the muscles didn't work. I had been open from my ribs all the way down, and from hip to hip.
Boy, was I lucky I had given so many relaxation classes, and had done the whole lot about hypnoticm.
But still....
And now I walked over that place, into a large hall, where our house would fit in four or five times.
We made a turn and another huge hall had to be crossed.
The receptionist recognised me, so she didn't want a card or something.
(I have lectured clinical behaviour and interviewing techniques for doctors, and professional behaviour and true care for parents of deceased babies for nurses, midwives and gynaecologists.)
We had to wait a short time in the new waitingroom, then we could wait in a doctorsroom.
The doc was nice, efficient and very friendly. She must have ADHD, she was so fibrant.
But said the referral had been wrong. We should have been at the thoraxic surgeon. Just like I said when I saw the referral....
She tries to squeeze us in, but they have such a full program...
So we could have skipped the whole visit there...
On our way back we took the time to watch the demolishment of a part of the old building. Oh...I love to see that. A huge machine like a crocodile beak biting in the building. They sprayed water from different angles to keep the dust to a minimum.
I really wanted to see it bite the children's department away, but that would have taken too much time. So we enjoyed a couple of stories above it.
The sound was huge... even though the hall we were standing is soundproof. It wasn't real noise, but you could hear the cracking of the stones.
The man stearing the machine looked to the people watching and then suddenly I waved... and he waved back... Hahhaaa!!!
We all had a good laugh. I couldn't see who he was, but who knows....
On our way back we kept looking to the dark clouds, but we came home dry.
Stef has had a talk at school. He's not allowed to the next year.
He said that the coordinator had told him his mentor had failed to give good guidance.
Hmmm.. At least he hasn't kept the contract to inform us early...
