Summer


The time that delicacy comes to glamour.
The little buts become wonderful flowers,
and the trees carry growing fruit.
It's the time that I'm close to nature,
because my garden is fully alive
and welcomes me every morning.

During summer
my children are fully alive too.
They have vacation, no school,
and apart from some days to a playground
or something else that is special
they're at home and around home.

Like the trees
that see the fruits picked on
yet still feed them to abundance,
I have to give my children
what they need
and try to stay myself.

I can nurture myself
by being in nature,
observing it and living in it.
And I can surround myself
with friends that enable me
to feel loving and caring,
and with beauty,
like this wonderful collection
and this surprise siggy.
