Hello!
Here in The Netherlands we don't celebrate halloween.
Oh yes, we have the commercial bit. The last few years pumpkins and the whole lot has been blown across the ocean, hunting for souls in need of a thrill.
Never a place too little for the big money concerns hunting for more. But I think it's too much of a cross cultural thing that we display pumkins at our front door and have scare events at restaurants.
It just doesn't fit in the way our country dealt with this time of year all those centuries before us.
These pages I've made for friends who do celebrate halloween.
You can find a treat, cards, ghostbusters and today ofcourse I'm going to write about our traditions. So that page you'll find later. You can start reading about the Witte Wieven, if you like.
Some links are a bit more down on this page.
I wish you a happy...or better said: a scary day.
And come back soon, as autumn has far more to offer.
